This was an evening of special celebration for us at Atelier Crenn. We had early dinner reservations and were celebrating our friends setting a date for their wedding. We kicked it off with some good champagne.

Atelier Crenn is known for its poetic culinaire – where menu is a poem composed by the chef and each course corresponds to a line in the poem.

We were presented a welcome drink which popped and melted off as soon as we put it in our mouth with cold sensations.

We added a special course of caviar. However the banana flavor overpowered it for us a bit, not able to taste and enjoy the caviar as much as we would have hoped.

Its whimsically ebullient red umami – Abalone, Bacon, Black Truffle

Meeting pretty pink lips, eyes so big – Salmon, Potato, Mousseline, Pickled Ramps, Smoked Roe

Overall it was a fantastic culinary experience – stylish and chic with bounty of flavors and textures and sensation produce. The service was attentive, friendly and affable throughout.
